How this forecast works
Model inputs
Each forecast runs 2,000 simulations using your assets, cash flow, goal and return assumptions. Annual return describes assumed growth; volatility describes its variation. Edit both under Return.
Reading the chart
The solid orange line and shaded area use all 2,000 simulations. The line shows median assets for each year. P10 and P90 are the 10th and 90th percentiles of that year’s results, ordered from lowest to highest. The shading between them (P10–P90) covers the middle 80%.
